About the Tour

Bhairav se Bhariav Tak will travel across the world, in the first intensive tour of its kind which focuses entirely on Indian classical music. This journey of ragas commenced from Banaras, on 18th Nov 2017, home to the legendary Hindustani Vocalists to Pandit Rajan & Pandit Sajan Misra, and where they have learnt their music and imbibed the amazing spirit of Banaras. This tour is officially supported by the Government of India, and ICCR

The Concept of Bhairav Se Bhairvi Tak is conceptualized by Saloni Gandhi. The idea is to present the spectrum of morning to evening Ragas (from Raga Bhairav to Raga Bhairvi). It is also to encourage morning & afternoon concerts apart from generally organized evening concerts. The science of notes, for creating ragas according to the time & season, is unique to the world of music. In this tour we have succeeded to have evening/night concerts but also morning and afternoon concerts to give the audiences an opportunity to listen different Ragas which are less explored or presented.
