He will be accompanied on Tabla by Amit Kavtekar - a disciple of Late Ustaad Allah Rakha Saheb and Ustaad Zakir Hussian. IMS Houston presents a vocal performance by Mrs. Bharati Pratap accompanied by Jagadeesh Kurthakoti on Tabla and Sarang Kulkarni on Harmonium. A torch bearer of the Agra Gharana, Smt. Bharathi Prathap is a graded artiste of All India Radio and Doordarshan. She has learnt from prominent gurus - Shri. Marutirao Inamdar, Pt. Ramarao V. Naik, and is currently under the tutelage of a doyenne of the Agra Gharana, Vidushi Lalith J. Rao.
